New York City - The heart of Times Square will pulse with Filipino pride this November as YAMAN NYC unfolds at the iconic New York Marriott Marquis, transforming one of Manhattan’s most vibrant landmarks into a dazzling showcase of Philippine culture, artistry, and innovation.
In Tagalog, “Yaman” means “treasure” and true to its name, the three-day festival celebrates the living treasures of Filipino creativity and heritage. Visitors will experience the beauty of indigenous weaving, handcrafted jewelry, haute couture fashion, and authentic Filipino cuisine, all brought together under one roof in an immersive cultural journey.

Philippine Consul General Senen Mangalile will lead the opening ceremony, emphasizing the festival’s role in promoting Filipino excellence and cultural diplomacy in the global arena. “Events like YAMAN NYC remind us that our culture is our greatest export a living testament to the Filipino spirit that thrives wherever we are in the world,” Mangalile said.

Organizers describe YAMAN NYC as “more than a marketplace it’s where commerce meets culture, where tradition meets innovation, and where community becomes legacy.” The event also commemorates Filipino American History Month, celebrating the enduring contributions of the Filipino diaspora.

A highlight of the festival is “An Extraordinary Encounter with Greatness,” featuring Tech Legend Lee Hower, LinkedIn Co-Founder, PayPal Mafia member, and NextView Ventures Partner, in a fireside conversation with Loida Nicolas-Lewis, the trailblazing Filipina-American CEO and philanthropist who made history as the first Asian and Filipina woman to pass the New York Bar without attending a U.S. law school.

As the lights of Times Square glow outside, YAMAN NYC stands as a testament to Filipino pride where culture, commerce, and community converge in one unforgettable celebration.
YAMAN NYC where culture becomes a living treasure.
