Senate celebrates BINI’s historic performance at Coachella 2026

Members of the P-pop girl group BINI were honored at the Senate of the Philippines following their historic performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival held in Indio, California last April.
The group personally received Senate Resolution No. 46, formally recognizing their achievement as the first Filipino act to perform at Coachella one of the world’s most prestigious and influential music festivals that features internationally acclaimed artists and draws thousands of music fans from around the globe every year.
Led by Senate President Vicente C. Sotto III, the Senate commended BINI for bringing pride and honor to the Philippines through their successful appearance at the internationally renowned event.
During their Coachella set, BINI showcased Filipino talent before a global audience, performing some of their hit songs while representing the growing influence of P-pop on the international music scene.
Lawmakers said the group’s milestone marked a significant achievement not only for the members of BINI but also for the Philippine music industry.
“BINI_ph’s achievement serves as an inspiration to young Filipinos, demonstrating that Filipino talent can thrive and gain recognition on the world stage,” the resolution stated.
The Senate also praised the group for helping promote Original Pilipino Music and inspiring young Filipinos to pursue their dreams in the field of arts and entertainment.
BINI continues to gain international attention as one of the leading acts in the rapidly growing P-pop industry, with fans from different countries supporting the group’s music and performances.
