Antipolo Man Stabbed by Woman Outside Store

ANTIPOLO, RIZAL — A 26-year-old man narrowly survived a brutal stabbing Tuesday noon in Sitio Adia, Brgy. San Isidro.

Police identified the suspect as 30-year-old “Nory,” who has a history of rehab stays due to prior sexual misconduct.

Barangay Tanod Kristele Anne Cruz said the victim was resting and smoking outside a store when Nory approached, sat down, and suddenly stabbed him once in the chest. The victim was rushed to Amang Rodriguez Hospital in Marikina and is now in stable condition.

The suspect is in custody and faces frustrated homicide charges.

Chilling Murder of PWD Woman in Naic, Cavite

Early Wednesday morning, 36-year-old Charmile, a woman with a disability, was found dead in her mother’s room, possibly after being sexually assaulted.

Police said the victim was discovered without lower clothing, with facial injuries, and blood on the walls suggesting she may have been struck against them. Her 8-year-old child discovered the crime while looking for their mother, last seen alive around 2:00 a.m. after accompanying her family to the market.

Authorities have taken three persons of interest into custody and collected technical evidence for comparison with the crime scene. Results from SOCO are awaited to confirm whether she was sexually assaulted before her death.

Communities on Edge

These violent incidents have sent shockwaves through Antipolo and Cavite, raising serious concerns about public safety and the state of peace and order in residential neighborhoods.
