QUEENS, NEW YORK — Eve Cho Guillergan, a seasoned attorney with over 30 years of legal experience, continues to build momentum in her campaign for Queens Civil Court Judge, bolstered by endorsements from key leaders and organizations in the Filipino American community.

Guillergan is making history as the first judicial candidate ever endorsed by the Filipino American Democratic Club. She has also received the support of the Filipino American Lawyers Association of New York (FALANY), where she has long been an active member.

Throughout her career, Guillergan has been a fierce advocate for immigrants, working to keep families together and standing up for DACA recipients and other vulnerable communities. Her experience reflects a lifelong commitment to justice, fairness, and public service.

New York State Assemblymember Steven Raga, the first Filipino American elected to the New York State Legislature, expressed his full support for Guillergan’s candidacy.

"Eve Cho Guillergan has spent her entire career fighting for working families, immigrants, and small business owners in Queens,” Raga said. “Her dedication to our community, especially as a Filipino American, makes her uniquely qualified to serve as a fair, compassionate, and thoughtful Civil Court Judge.”

For many in the Filipino American and immigrant communities, Guillergan’s candidacy is seen as a major step toward greater representation in New York’s judiciary.

As election season nears, supporters say Guillergan’s deep ties to Queens and her proven legal experience make her the right choice to serve on the bench.
