Rider Dies After Skidding on Road in Camambugan, Daet; Police Investigation Ongoing

Operatives of the Daet Municipal Police Station are conducting an investigation to determine the identity of a man who died in a road accident along Solomon Bacuño Street in Barangay Camambugan at around 12:45 a.m. on October 26, 2025.

Based on the initial investigation, a blue and green Suzuki motorcycle bearing plate number 620 ESE lost control while traversing the road toward Daet proper. The driver reportedly lost balance after hitting an uneven section of the pavement, causing him to be thrown off and crash onto the concrete road.

Responders from the Daet Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) immediately rushed the victim to the Camarines Norte Provincial Hospital for emergency treatment. However, attending physician Dr. Lucas Ferrer declared the rider dead on arrival.

A follow-up investigation by the Daet Police is ongoing to determine the full circumstances of the incident and establish the victim’s identity. Authorities are also urging anyone with information about the case to coordinate with the nearest police station to assist in the investigation.
