MANILA, PHILIPPINES - Anne Patricia Lorenzo Diaz was crowned Miss International Queen Philippines 2025 during a glittering ceremony held at the Mall of Asia Arena on July 9, 2025. Her win marked a triumphant third attempt at the national pageant, proving that perseverance, passion, and authenticity always shine through.
The 27-year-old stunner bested 42 of the country’s most beautiful, intelligent, and witty transgender women, earning the right to represent the Philippines at the Miss International Queen 2025 Finals in Thailand later this year.
Like Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach—who famously won on her third try—Diaz also took a similar path to victory. She previously finished second in 2022 and third in 2023 before finally claiming the crown this year.Following her victory, Diaz took to social media to share an emotional and deeply personal message of gratitude. In a now-viral Facebook post, she dedicated her win to her supporters, loved ones, mentors, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
“This triumph is not mine alone—it is shared with the remarkable souls who stood by me, believed in me, and poured their hearts into this journey,” she wrote. “You are the true pillars behind this crowning moment.”
Among those she thanked was her daughter figure, Khloe Lorenzo, who encouraged her to pursue her dreams despite moments of doubt. Diaz also paid tribute to her longtime partner, Renz Anicete, who stood by her through emotional challenges and late-night rehearsals.
“Babe, finally, di mo na ako makikitang natutulala at nalulungkot every time we pass by Tiffany Theatre,”she wrote, referencing a past memory that had long haunted her. “I now walk forward with a healed heart, representing the Philippines on the international stage.”
She also acknowledged the pain her mother endured from online hate and made it clear that her family’s love has been her greatest motivation. Her post extended gratitude to her trusted team—designers, coaches, and mentors—including Manny Halasan, Bebang Concepcion, Atty. Ron Gamboa, and Ian Mendajar—for shaping her into the queen she is today.
But beyond personal gratitude, Diaz’s message struck a powerful tone of advocacy.
“Let us work hard together to achieve the equality, diversity, equity, and inclusivity that we’ve been fighting for,” she said. “Together, we are all united.”
Her victory was more than just a pageant win—it was a representation of the transgender community’s resilience, talent, and determination to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
As she prepares to compete at the Miss International Queen 2025 stage in Thailand—the world’s most prestigious pageant for transgender women—Anne Patricia Lorenzo Diaz carries not just the hopes of a nation, but the voices and stories of an entire community.
From heartbreak to triumph, from doubt to destiny—this queen has arrived.
