Starting June 8, 2025, Indian nationals will be allowed to enter the Philippines without a visa, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced on Saturday.
Under the new policy, Indian tourists may stay in the country for up to 14 days, provided the visit is non-extendible and non-convertible. The move is part of the government’s efforts to increase tourist arrivals and promote the Philippines as a travel destination.
To be eligible, Indian travelers must present the following:
A valid passport
Confirmed hotel accommodation
Proof of financial capacity
A return or onward ticket
Additionally, Indian nationals holding a valid AJACSSUK visa or residence permit—referring to those issued by the United States, Japan, Australia, Canada, Schengen area, Singapore, and the United Kingdom—will be allowed to stay in the Philippines visa-free for up to 30 days as tourists.
However, the DFA clarified that the visa-free privilege does not apply to Indian nationals entering the country for long-term stays, non-tourism purposes, or transit.
