It was a proud and emotional day for actor and television personality Edu Manzano, as his son, Enzo Manzano, a Filipino-American civic leader and public servant, graduated with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from New York University (NYU).

The graduation ceremony, held at NYU’s esteemed Manhattan campus, marked the culmination of years of academic dedication and commitment to public service. Enzo’s achievement was a significant milestone not only for him, but for his entire family.

The occasion also reflected the continued success of the Manzano family’s next generation. All of their children have found fulfillment in their chosen careers, making the event a moment of shared pride and accomplishment.

Enzo, a graduate of NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, is now set to expand his work in governance, community development, and policy-making. He is part of a growing wave of Filipino-Americans making meaningful contributions to public service in the United States.

Originally from Manila, Enzo moved to New York in 2018 and began his career in public service as a volunteer on a City Council campaign in the Bronx. His leadership and work ethic led him to the role of District Office Director for Council Member Eric Dinowitz. He currently serves as Director of Nonprofits at Kasirer LLC, one of the top lobbying firms in New York City.

In addition to his professional achievements, Enzo is an active figure in the Filipino-American community. He is the current President of the Filipino American Democratic Club of New York and previously served as East Coast Regional Director for Filipino Americans for Harris during the 2024 U.S. elections.

In recognition of his impact and leadership, Enzo was named to City & State’s inaugural Asian Trailblazers list in May 2025.

The event not only celebrated academic excellence, but also highlighted the growing influence of Filipino-Americans in public leadership and civic engagement in the United States.
