The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has swooped down on the flashy car collection of the controversial Discaya family — seizing 12 jaw-dropping luxury rides from their compound in Pasig.
Among the “toys for the big boys” taken by authorities: a Rolls Royce Cullinan, Bentley Bentayga, Brabus G-Wagon, Maserati Levante, Toyota LC300, and Lincoln Navigator.
But the drama didn’t end there. Hours after the raid, witnesses spotted several high-end cars mysteriously rolling back into the family’s garage — including a Bentley and a Toyota Tundra already tagged in the BOC’s search warrant. Earlier that day, only 2 of the 12 targeted vehicles were initially found.
At the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee, Sarah Discaya proudly admitted she owns 28 luxury cars. But Senator Jinggoy Estrada dropped the real bombshell — the family’s stable could hit 80 cars in total.
Their lawyer, Atty. Cornelio Samaniego III, swore the family isn’t hiding anything. He claimed some cars were in “preventive maintenance,” some were being “used by the kids,” while others were moved to higher ground to avoid floods.
“All cars are legal, all documented. Nothing’s hidden,” Samaniego insisted. “If you don’t drive them, they’ll just rot in the garage.”
Still, the Discayas are under fire, with critics saying their “garage games” look more like a cover-up than car care.

Senate Minority Leader Tito Sotto wasn’t buying the excuses either. He insisted the BOC, not the Senate, should dig deeper into the couple’s car suppliers — especially Frebel Enterprise, now under probe for alleged Bugatti smuggling.
“Discaya bought her rides from Frebel, the same group already flagged for smuggled Bugattis,” Sotto said. “Birds of the same feather flock together.”
Sotto also wants Sarah’s husband, Pacifico ‘Curlee’ Discaya II, dragged into the spotlight.
“Don’t just send Sarah. Curlee should face the music too. And honestly—I want to know how Pacifico turned into Curlee,” Sotto cracked.
For now, the Discaya’s shiny fleet is parked firmly in the government’s grip. But with rumors of dozens more cars hidden away, the chase is far from over.
