
Wife Found Dead in Ilocos Sur Home; Police Probe Gruesome Killing

San Vicente, Ilocos Sur – A 37-year-old woman was found dead under disturbing circumstances inside her home in Barangay San Vicente, Ilocos Sur, on the evening of Sunday, May 18.
San Vicente police identified the victim as Gloria Rebuldela Rubitan, who was discovered by her husband lying in a pool of blood with a deep slash wound to her neck and no clothing on her lower body.
The husband had just returned home from work when he encountered the horrifying scene in their bedroom. He immediately called for help and rushed his wife to a nearby
hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Initial investigations indicate that the victim was alone in the house at the time of the incident. Police have classified the case as a possible homicide and are pursuing multiple leads to identify the suspect and determine the motive behind the killing.
Rubitan was employed at a local car dealership in the province.
Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation, which includes a forensic examination and interviews with potential witnesses. They are also urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
