Veterans Take the Crown: Katrina Johnson and Annabelle McDonnell Win Big at Binibining Pilipinas 2025

Two familiar faces in the pageant world claimed the top titles at the 61st Binibining Pilipinas held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Katrina Anne Johnson of Davao City was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International 2025, earning the right to represent the Philippines at the Miss International Pageant next year. Johnson, who finished as first runner-up in the 2023 edition, captivated judges and pageant fans with her poise and polished performance.

Joining her in victory was Annabelle Mae McDonnell from Iligan City, who was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2025. McDonnell was also first runner-up in 2022 and later made waves internationally by finishing as first runner-up in the 2023 Miss Charm Pageant. Her return to the Binibini stage was met with cheers from fans who have followed her inspiring journey.

This year’s runners-up also brought star power. Dalia Varde Khattab of Las Piñas, a Star Magic talent, was named first runner-up, while Kathleen Enid Espenido of Siargao, known for her stint on Pinoy Big Brother, took home the second runner-up title.

The 2025 coronation night celebrated the strength and determination of returning candidates, highlighting how resilience and experience continue to shine through on the national pageant stage. With Johnson and McDonnell leading the charge, the Philippines is once again set to make a mark in the international pageant scene.
