
Two Dead, Six Injured in Explosion at Illegal Fireworks Factory in Bulacan

Two unidentified men were killed, while six others were injured following an explosion at an illegal fireworks factory in Barangay Partida, Norzagaray, Bulacan.
According to the initial investigation by the Norzagaray Municipal Police Station, the explosion occurred around 11:00 a.m. when a loud blast was heard from the facility.
Personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection and the local rescue team immediately responded to the scene and managed to extinguish the fire. Authorities declared the blaze under control at around 11:50 a.m.
The bodies of the two men were found inside the collapsed section of the factory, while the injured victims were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Investigators discovered that the factory had no proper permits and was operating illegally.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the explosion, while the police have sought assistance from the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit to conduct a Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO).
