NEW YORK - The Philippines once again proved its status as a global pageant powerhouse after both its representatives placed in the Top 5 of the Mister and Miss Supranational 2025 competitions, held on June 27 and 28 at the scenic Strzelecki Park Amphitheater.
Anna Valencia Lakrini, former Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2023 and Miss Globe 2023 2nd runner-up, clinched the 1st runner-up title at Miss Supranational 2025. She impressed the judges with her commanding stage presence, elegance, and heartfelt advocacy.
Lakrini’s finish continues the Philippines' strong tradition in international beauty pageants, further solidifying its reputation on the global stage.
Joining her in the winners' circle was Kenneth Cabungcal, who proudly secured a spot in the Top 5 of Mister Supranational 2025. His confidence, charisma, and sharp looks made him a standout among the competition’s finest men from around the world.
Brazil’s Eduarda Da Silva Braum was crowned Miss Supranational 2025, while Swann Lavigne of France won the Mister Supranational 2025 title.
Also placing in the Miss Supranational Top 5 were Quishantely Leilo of Curaçao, Tarah Valencia of the Philippines, and Valerie Klepadio of Puerto Rico. In the Mister Supranational pageant, Curaçao’s Zuemerik Veeris, Mexico’s Mauricio Clavo, and Nigeria’s Michael Mazi completed the Top 5 alongside Cabungcal.
With these strong placements, the Philippines continues to make its mark as one of only three countries—alongside Brazil and Puerto Rico—to have won all six major international beauty titles, including Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Earth, Miss Grand International, and Miss Supranational.
Filipino fans around the world erupted in celebration, expressing pride and excitement on social media. A hero’s welcome is expected for both Lakrini and Cabungcal upon their return to the country later this week.
