Residents of Purok 4, Barangay Calabaca, Capalonga, Camarines Norte were shocked this afternoon after a series of gunshots rang out, targeting the parked vehicles of the team of re-electionist mayoralty candidate, Luz Ricasio. The incident occurred while the campaign team was conducting house-to-house visits in the area.
According to reports, armed men fired at the vehicles, striking the tires and other parts of the campaign cars. The team was reportedly circulating the area when they heard gunshots. When one of their staff members returned to the vehicles, they found three spent bullet casings near the parked cars and realized that their vehicles had been shot at.
