Fil-Am members Gehlee and Elisia take center stage as UNIS launches Americas tour in New York

NEW YORK - K-pop girl group UNIS is gearing up for a major global milestone as it launches its first-ever North and South America tour, shining a well-deserved spotlight on Filipino members Gehlee and Elisia, whose rise continues to energize Fil-Am and Philippine fans around the world.

Titled “2026 UNIS 1ST TOUR: Ever Last,” the tour kicks off in New York on January 28 and will bring the group to 15 cities across the Americas. Stops include Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Dallas, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Los Angeles, giving fans multiple chances to experience UNIS live on stage.

For many Fil-Am supporters, the tour marks a proud moment of representation. Gehlee and Elisia’s presence on major international stages highlights the growing influence of Filipino talent in the global K-pop scene a movement that continues to gain momentum with each new generation of idols.

UNIS officially debuted in March 2024 with its first mini-album WE UNIS, following its formation through the SBS and F&F Entertainment survival program Universe Ticket. Even before debut, the group drew buzz for its diverse, multinational lineup spanning South Korea, Japan, and the Philippines.

The excitement quickly translated into success. In its first year alone, UNIS collected 12 awards and built a strong international fanbase. The group expanded overseas with fan signings and concerts in the Philippines, followed by fan events in Japan, where Gehlee and Elisia drew especially strong support from Filipino fans both at home and abroad.

UNIS sustained its global momentum in 2025 with the release of its second mini-album SWICY, which showcased the group’s signature “Mapdal” charm. Japanese digital singles “Moshi Moshi” and “mwah…” further boosted the group’s presence across Asia.
