Eight police officers were arrested inside Camp Vicente Lim in Calamba, Laguna after allegedly abducting, robbing, and raping an 18-year-old Grade 9 student from Bacoor City, Cavite — a crime authorities described as shocking and deeply disturbing, especially because the suspects are members of an elite PNP unit.

The arrested officers are all assigned to the PNP Drug Enforcement Group – Special Operations Unit 4A (PDEG SOU 4A).

The case stems from an incident on Saturday, November 22, around 7:45 a.m. in Zone 6, Brgy. Talaba 3, Bacoor City. The victim, identified only as alias “Nena,” a young livestreamer, reported that she was forcibly taken, robbed, and raped by multiple police officers.

Following the complaint, the Intelligence Section of the Bacoor City Police, aided by operatives from RID, RHSU, and RMFB, launched a follow-up operation. At around 2:00 a.m., authorities tracked down and arrested eight suspects right inside their own headquarters at the PDEG SOU 4A office in Camp Vicente Lim.

Six other PDEG personnel allegedly involved in the crime remain at large and are now the subject of an intensified manhunt.

Recovered from the arrested officers were eight high-powered handguns, a total of 103 rounds of ammunition, the victim’s iPhone 13, and her motorcycle. Police also seized a red Toyota Innova believed to have been used in the abduction, as well as 86 grams of suspected illegal drugs valued at ₱584,800.

Investigators have yet to determine who owns the seized illegal drugs and why the victim was targeted by the group in the first place.

Authorities are now preparing multiple criminal charges against the suspects, including rape, robbery in band, illegal detention, and violations of anti-drug laws.
