Biñan City Massacre: A Father's "Too Much Love" Ends in Tragedy, Mother and Two Children Shot and Killed

Biñan City, Laguna – A tragic incident unfolded Thursday afternoon in a gated community in Southville 5A, Barangay Langkiwa, when a father reportedly shot his live-in partner and their two children. The altercation, believed to have been fueled by intense jealousy, resulted in the deaths of the mother and her two children.


According to police reports, the incident occurred around 3:00 PM when authorities received a call about gunfire in the area. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered the lifeless bodies of Joan, 30, and her 10-year-old daughter, Jenel, inside their home.


An 11-year-old boy, identified as Joemari, was found severely injured and was immediately rushed to Ospital ng Biñan for medical treatment but died the following morning due to injuries from the gunshot wound.


The suspect, known only by the alias Joel, 40, was a driver and bodyguard. After allegedly committing the crime, he reportedly took his own life, further shocking the community.


Initial investigations suggest that the shooting stemmed from a heated argument between the couple, likely triggered by jealousy. The dispute escalated within their home, leading to the tragic turn of events.
