NEW YORK - The Miss Universe Philippines Organization (MUPH) held a grand send-off party on Thursday for Miss Universe Philippines Ahtisa Manalo, who will represent the country in the Miss Universe 2025 competition in Thailand.
During the event, Ahtisa expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her family, friends, and supporters who have stood by her throughout her journey.
“I’m deeply thankful for the love and encouragement I’ve received. It strengthens my confidence and inspires me to proudly represent the Philippines on the Miss Universe stage,” she said.
Leading the celebration was MUPH National Director Ariella Arida, a Miss Universe 2013 Top 5 finalist, who praised Ahtisa for her grace, discipline, and dedication.
“Ahtisa embodies the modern Filipina—elegant, intelligent, and resilient. We are confident she will make our country proud once again,” Arida shared.
When asked about her preparations, Ahtisa replied,
“I feel nine out of ten prepared, and what will complete my readiness is the continued love and prayers of the Filipino people.”
The Miss Universe 2025 Coronation Night will take place on November 21, 2025, in Thailand, where Ahtisa hopes to bring home the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown.
The Philippines has already made its mark in Miss Universe history with four titleholders: Gloria Diaz (1969), Margarita Moran (1973), Pia Wurtzbach (2015), and Catriona Gray (2018). Should Ahtisa win, she would join this prestigious roster and continue the country’s strong legacy in the international pageant.
With her charm, confidence, and determination, Ahtisa Manalo is set to shine and show the world the true beauty, intelligence, and heart of the Filipina.
