3 Kilos of Shabu Worth ₱20.4M Seized in Daet; 3 High-Value Individuals Arrested

Daet, Camarines Norte — Three alleged High-Value Individuals (HVI) were arrested in a successful buy-bust operation along Vinzons Avenue, Daet, Camarines Norte, on the evening of December 3, 2025.

Police recovered from the suspects roughly 3 kilos of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱20,400,000, based on the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) valuation. Also confiscated were 669 pieces of counterfeit ₱1,000 bills used as boodle money, along with marked buy-bust cash.

The operation was carried out by the Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit (PPDEU) and Daet Municipal Police Station (MPS), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office V. Authorities said the three suspects had been under long-term surveillance due to their alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade in Camarines Norte.

The suspects are now in police custody and will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
