The Philippines continues to make waves on the global tourism stage as three of its most iconic destinations — Boracay, Palawan, and Siargao — were named among the Top 10 Islands in Asia in the 38th Annual Condé Nast Traveler (CNT) Readers’ Choice Awards.

The prestigious ranking once again showcases the country’s natural beauty and world-class hospitality. Boracay secured the 4th spot with a score of 90.54, followed closely by Palawan at 5th (90.23) and Siargao at 7th (85.49).

Topping this year’s list is Phú Quốc, Vietnam with an impressive 95.51, followed by Langkawi, Malaysia, and Koh Samui, Thailand. Thailand also made a strong showing with Phuket and Phi Phi Islands, reinforcing Southeast Asia’s reputation as a tropical tourism powerhouse.

According to CNT, more than 700,000 readers from the United Kingdom participated in this year’s survey, sharing their favorite travel destinations and experiences around the world. The 2025 results were officially released on October 7 via the Condé Nast Traveler website.

The Readers’ Choice Awards, now in its 38th year, remains one of the most respected accolades in the global travel industry, recognizing destinations that consistently deliver exceptional visitor experiences, sustainable tourism, and cultural authenticity.

Tourism officials welcomed the recognition, noting that these distinctions reaffirm the Philippines’ position as a top island-hopping destination in Asia. From Boracay’s powdery white sands, Palawan’s world-renowned limestone cliffs and lagoons, to Siargao’s famous surf breaks, the country’s islands continue to attract global travelers seeking adventure, relaxation, and natural wonder.

With this renewed international spotlight, the Department of Tourism aims to sustain the momentum through continued eco-friendly tourism initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, and community-based programs that promote responsible travel and inclusive growth across the archipelago.
